At Stroud, Flechas & Dalton, we believe you should not have to shoulder the burden of medical expenses, lost work and watching the impact your injuries have on your loved ones. We will work hard to ensure the person who exhibited negligence or carelessness, causing your injuries, is held responsible. There are many different types of personal injury. Perhaps you have been involved in a car, truck, motorcycle, bicycle or pedestrian accident. These accidents can leave you with serious injuries, feeling as though you have nowhere to turn. Perhaps your accident has left you with catastrophic injuries, such as a traumatic brain injury or a spinal cord injury. Catastrophic injuries can literally bankrupt a family as the ongoing medical expenses can climb alarmingly. Perhaps your injuries were the result of medical malpractice. If so, we will work hard to hold the medical professional who failed to act in manner consistent with the applicable standard of care accountable for your injuries. You may have suffered a slip and fall accident on public property because the owner or manager of the property failed to take reasonable precautions to prevent such an accident. Your loved one may have suffered nursing home neglect or abuse, leaving you struggling with the emotional aspects as well as the financial. Whatever your personal injury, Stroud, Flechas & Dalton can help you get your life back on track.
Criminal Defense: Fighting for the Innocence and Good of All People
If you have been charged with a criminal offense, it is a sure bet you are scared and confused. You may not have a good handle on your rights after such charges, and may have been intimidated by law enforcement into talking—maybe even saying things which were not true, out of exhaustion and fear. Facing criminal charges can certainly be the most daunting task you will ever face, and Stroud, Flechas & Dalton wants to help you through this difficult time. We want to make sure your rights are fully protected during the entire process and that you receive the right outcome that you should. We truly care about your future. We never judge—we know good people make bad decisions sometimes. Perhaps you have been charged with assault and battery, domestic violence or simple assault. We understand that there are always two sides to every story, and we want to ensure your side is heard. Or, you may have been charged with DUI, DWI or drug charges. We know how such charges can alter your live for many, many years to come, and we vow to work hard on your behalf to minimize the long-term repercussions. Perhaps your charges are less serious, such as reckless driving, driving on a suspended or revoked driver’s license, resisting arrest or disorderly conduct. Again, we believe we can help you minimize the consequences of these charges, allowing you to get back to your life.
Civil Rights: An Advocate in Your Corner
You may be facing a violation of your civil rights, and need an advocate in your corner who can fearlessly face governmental entities. Stroud, Flechas & Dalton believes in your basic rights, and will work hard on your behalf to protect those rights. We believe you should be free from wrongful or unlawful arrest, wrongful or unlawful searches and seizures, sexual abuse by a jailor or police officer, police TASER abuse, excessive force on the part of law enforcement or prison or jail personnel, police misconduct, unlawful police shootings, abuse of power by law enforcement, and even dog bites from K9 dogs. While civil rights lawsuits can be complex, we have the skills and experience necessary to handle these cases. In many instances, you must file a claim with the governmental entity prior to filing a lawsuit. We are well-familiar with all laws surrounding civil rights violations. No matter how your civil rights were violated, Stroud, Flechas & Dalton can help.
