December 17, 2013 by Brandon Flechas Leave a Comment

When you have a condition or injury requiring surgery, fear and nervousness must be quelled by the consideration and promise of your surgeon, showing that you are in good hands.

Unfortunately, not all surgeons are as capable as others. The skill and precision levels of a surgeon often decide the success and recovery time of a surgery.

December 5, 2013 by Leave a Comment

CoQ10 | Southaven, MS Medical Malpractice Attorney | Stroud, Flechas & DaltonAs an experienced medical malpractice attorney in Southaven, Mississippi, I am often asked by clients about certain drugs or pharmaceuticals they feel may be having adverse affects on their health.

One such drug that often comes up in conversation is Coenzyme Q10, or CoQ10 as it is commonly referred to as. CoQ10 is usually taken by patients in supplement form to counteract muscle pain and weakness caused by cholesterol-lowering statin drugs.

Whether CoQ10 is actually helping—or worse, hurting—patients, is currently up for debate in the medical community. [Read more…]

Mississippi law update: Mississippi Abortion Clinic Open After Emergency Ruling

July 10, 2012 by Leave a Comment

U.S. District Judge Daniel P. Jordan, III, decided to temporarily block a new law in Mississippi that, if enforced, would shut down the state’s sole abortion clinic.
