One of DeSoto county’s biggest events is almost here, and it is the perfect way to celebrate the spring weather.  The 34^th Annual Springfest will celebrate Southaven’s birthday with plenty of fun entertainment and activities, and famous Mississippi BBQ.

The festival will be open for all from Tuesday April 22^nd through Saturday April 26^th.  Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, the festival goes from 4:00pm – 10:00pm. On Friday and Saturday, the festival extended hours to allow even more opportunity to enjoy yourself and your community.

Whether you attend the beauty pageant, one or several of the numerous concerts, or ride all the major carnival rides, it is a guaranteed good time.  Admission is only $10 for people over the age of 11, and free for everyone before noon on Friday and Saturday.

No matter your age, you can find something to enjoy at Southaven’s Springfest.  Even if you only go to celebrate your city’s birthday, you will end up enjoying something more, whether it’s BBQ from the cook-off or the Ferris wheel.
