It’s finally crawfish season, the tastiest time of the year. The spring and early summer months are a fun time to bring family and friends together for a feast, and to get your hands messy with some spicy crawfish and cold beer.
The second annual Heads-N-Tails Beer and Crawfish Festival is the perfect opportunity to do just that. Held at the Snowden Grove Amphitheatre in Southaven, the festival will feature live music, lots of food, and over 100 craft beers.
Held as a benefit for the Tunica Humane Society and the Stovall’s Sacrifice for Soldiers, the event will be a great way to mingle and celebrate the season with family, friends, and the rest of the community — all for a good cause.
The unique beers include micro-brewed ales, pilsners, stouts, and everything in between. Every person who purchases a ticket will be able to sample a beer that is normally unavailable in the area.
The festival will take place on May 10, 2014 and tickets are $40 in advance, $45 at the door. Admission covers samples from the best local, regional, national, and import breweries from around the world, as well as a souvenir mug.
If you’re interested in a good time, good beer, and good food all for a good cause, you can purchase tickets online at ticketmaster.com or the Snowden Grove Amphitheatre box office. Visit the Snowden Grove Amphitheatre website for more information.
