Matthew G. Dalton
Attorney Matt Dalton, a sixth-generation Mississippian, received his B.S. in Political Science from Mississippi College in 2015. In 2018, Mr. Dalton received his Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi School of Law where he served as Managing Articles Editor of the Mississippi Sports Law Review. Following law school, Mr. Dalton moved with his wife, an elementary school teacher, to Desoto County, Mississippi to join The Stroud Law Firm and begin his career representing individuals in the practice areas of personal injury, criminal defense, and civil rights litigation. Matt is a member of the Mississippi Bar Association and is licensed to practice in all Mississippi state courts, as well as in the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern District of Mississippi.
In addition to his practice at The Stroud Law Firm, Mr. Dalton also serves as the Municipal Court public defender for the City of Horn Lake.
Matt recognizes that every individual he represents is facing a difficult time in his/her life. This is why he approaches every case with the compassion, personal attention, and zealous representation that each client deserves.
