I have a commercial drivers’ license. How will it be affected by a DUI charge?

If you’re convicted of DUI and hold a commercial driver’s license, or a COD, as some refer to it, you are facing a one-year suspension on your driver’s license. You will not be afforded the same opportunities that a non-commercial driver would have, such as non-adjudication, or the opportunity to install a breath machine in your vehicle and retain your driving privileges.
