PHILIP: At Stroud, Flechas & Dalton, we focus on representing individuals who have been seriously injured whether that be on mobile accidents, whether that be in accidents on the job or at work, for people who once they’re injured, they lose their job. They don’t have the ability to make, to pay for medical bills and to carry the load of a normal household, the financial problems that they experience as a result.
We focus on helping those people in many ways. We focus on helping them through negotiation with their creditors when they’re down and out and they’re injured and they can’t work and the bills pile up, we help them in that regard. We help them get their story out as it relates to how this has impact to them, how it’s changed their lives.
I mean a lot of people think when you’re involved in a car accident, how can it affect you, how can it change your life? I can tell you from representing thousands of individuals who have been through things as minor as a small wreck to as major as a death of a loved one, that it has an unbelievable impact on the daily basis to how those people to live their lives.
BRANDON: We deal with people at us, one is sometimes the toughest part of their life, and what we get to do is apply the knowledge that we have in order to guide them through a system that sometimes not friendly to individuals who aren’t used to going through that system, and in doing that we shepherded in through the system and help them to reach outcome that hopefully makes life easier from their helps to make them whole, putting back a piece of what they’ve lost.
PHILIP: Not only does our firm proud ourselves in handling personal injury matters and handling them well. We help those people who have been charged criminally with things. A lot of times, in our community, the average person believes that you’re guilty until proven innocent. Here at Stroud, Flechas & Dalton, we believe that you are innocent until proven guilty and we work very hard to ensure that our clients have their best bet in court and if that means filling an appeal on their behalf if they don’t get justice in the lower court, we’re committed to doing that on their behalf.
We found a lot of times when people are charged criminally, they walk back and forth. Do we need to hire a lawyer, do we not, and a lot of times they trust that the city or the municipality or the state will work with them and help them and what they often find after the fact that they didn’t hire a lawyer, they didn’t hire someone to protect their interests, that they end up getting really railroaded and I hate to see that happen.
BRANDON: If we don’t think from the very outs of the case, that we can present this case to a jury, and win that case, arguing on long plans, then we won’t take it. We may discover things along the way that make it apparent that maybe we should try to settle the case, but we never take a case at the outset with settlement in that. We always take it at the outset with the thinking that we’re going to take this to a jury trial and win it.
PHILIP: We realized that when people come in here, they’re very vulnerable and they don’t need a lawyer who’s going to come across someone who’s slick or smooth or those kinds of things, they just want somebody to listen to and that’s what we’re trying to do.
