Veterans Day in Southaven, Mississippi is a time to show your appreciation of the men and women who have served so bravely to protect our country.
In honor of all of the veterans in Southaven, Mayor Darren Musselwhite and the City of Southaven would like to invite all military veterans to the 13th Annual Veterans Appreciation Luncheon.
The luncheon is scheduled for Veterans Day, Nov. 11, at 11:30 a.m. All veterans are encouraged to make reservations early so that there will be plenty of seats and food for all in attendance. The luncheon will be held at The Arena at Southaven (7360 Hwy 51 N, Southaven, MS).
In addition to the meal, there will also be a memorabilia table on display for exhibiting pictures and awards. Bring your own special mementos if you wish to share them with other veterans in the Southaven community.
All branches of the United States military will be recognized.
Veterans, be sure to bring along any guests with whom you wish to share this special afternoon. Your meal is free, but guests of veterans are asked to pay ten dollars for their lunch.
