Philip Stroud Selected as a Top 100 Trial Lawyer

One of our own exceptional lawyers, Philip Stroud, was selected as a Top 100 Trial Lawyer by the National Trial Lawyers.

The National Trial Lawyers is a professional organization that focuses on life-long advocacy training, educational programming, and networking. The organization is a common place for clients to find a civil plaintiff and criminal defense trial lawyers in their state and around the country.

In order to achieve this status, Philip underwent a multi-phase selection process and was ultimately asked to join this “invitation only” organization. All members are re-evaluated every year to ensure that only the most qualified are granted membership in the organization.

To receive an invitation to join the Top 100 National Trial Lawyers, civil plaintiff and criminal defense lawyers must:

• Have an esteemed reputation in the legal and public community
• Be nominated by a peer
• Prove their legal skills with the previous year’s achievements, settlements, and verdicts
• Show leadership in other legal organizations, like the state’s Bar Association
• Be reviewed and researched by a third party

As founding member of the Southaven, Mississippi, based personal injury law firm, Stroud, Flechas & Dalton, P.C., Philip Stroud has demonstrated exceptional skill in his areas of practice, strong leadership skills in the community, and a determination to meet the needs of his clients.

He has focused on representing personal injury and criminal defense cases for clients. His practice areas cover a number of things including, but not limited to, car and trucking accidents, police misconduct/police brutality claims, medical malpractice and defending  clients charged with DUI, drug charges and domestic violence.

Stroud earned his undergraduate degree at The University of Mississippi, and later attended law school at Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. He is licensed to practice law in Mississippi, Tennessee, and Alabama.
